Lab-grown or mined?
A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond: the same carbon crystal, hardness and sparkle as a mined one. It is graded on the same cut, color, clarity and carat, and typically costs 50–70% less than a comparable mined diamond.

How to choose a diamond shape
Start with the shape she already wears or saves in photos; it says more than any trend.
A round brilliant gives the most sparkle. Oval, pear and marquise are longer, so they lengthen the finger and tend to look larger than a round of the same carat. Emerald and asscher are step cuts with clean, mirror-like facets, and our VVS1–VVS2 clarity suits their open tables. Cushion and radiant keep soft corners with lively sparkle; princess is crisp and square; heart is the most romantic.

How to choose a setting
The setting decides how the center diamond is framed: alone, with a ring of stones, or with side stones.
A solitaire keeps every eye on the center diamond. A hidden halo adds sparkle beneath the stone while the top view stays clean. A halo surrounds the center and makes it look larger. Three stone rings pair the center with two side diamonds. Pavé lines the band with small diamonds, and a bezel wraps the edge in gold, a smart choice for active hands.

How big a center diamond for your budget
Set your budget first, then choose the carat; every ring shows its price for each center-stone size.
Our color and clarity grades stay the same at every carat, so a larger size changes the size and the price, not the quality. Center diamonds from 1.00 ct come with an IGI report. If size on the hand matters most, an oval, pear or marquise gives a larger look for the same carat weight.

Choose the color she wears most, then the karat: 14K for everyday durability, 18K for a richer color.
14K gold has more alloy, so it is harder and stands up well to daily wear. 18K holds more pure gold and shows a deeper tone. Yellow gold is warm and classic, white gold bright and modern, rose gold soft and romantic.

What is the difference between IGI and GIA?
Both are independent laboratories that grade a diamond's cut, color, clarity and carat. Our center diamonds from 1.00 ct come with an IGI report, and GIA is available on request for custom orders. IGI vs GIA.
Will a lab-grown diamond test as a diamond?
Yes. It is a diamond, so a standard diamond tester reads it as one. Only advanced laboratory equipment can tell a lab-grown diamond from a mined one.
Do lab-grown diamonds hold their value?
Not as an investment. Lab-grown diamond prices have fallen as production has grown, and resale offers are low. Mined diamonds also typically resell for well below retail. How long does my ring take?

Can I return my ring?
