The short answer
Solitaire engagement rings at a glance
A solitaire is one lab-grown diamond on a clean band. Nothing competes with the center stone, so every bit of the budget goes into the diamond you see. It is the most timeless engagement ring style and pairs easily with almost any wedding band. Each Raul solitaire is made to order in 14K or 18K gold.

How to choose
Choosing your solitaire
Four prongs or six?
Four prongs show more of the diamond and give a slightly squarer outline. Six prongs hold the stone a little more securely and keep a round outline looking round.
| Prongs | Look |
|---|---|
| Four | More diamond, clean lines |
| Six | Extra security, rounder outline |
How tall should the setting sit?
A higher setting lets more light into the diamond and makes it more visible. A lower setting is easier for everyday wear and catches less on sweaters and gloves.
Which band width suits a solitaire?
A slim band makes the center diamond look larger. A slightly wider band feels substantial and holds up well to daily wear. If you plan to stack a wedding band, a slim band leaves room for both.
Questions
Solitaire ring questions
Still deciding? A diamond specialist can walk you through options by video or phone.
Is a solitaire a good choice for a larger diamond?
Yes. With no halo or side stones, a 2 or 3 carat solitaire lets the diamond speak for itself, and lab-grown diamonds make larger sizes far more attainable.
Will a wedding band sit flush with a solitaire?
Most solitaires pair cleanly with a straight band. If the setting sits low, a curved or contour band follows its shape.
How long does a made-to-order ring take?
We make each ring to order in 2–3 weeks. It then ships free and fully insured by DHL or FedEx, arriving in 2–5 business days with a signature required.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery if unworn. We send a prepaid, insured return label. Custom-designed, engraved and resized pieces are final unless defective.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Choose Shop Pay Installments at checkout, subject to eligibility.
